The beauty of a simple life

The last few days in the south island were spent trekking the Abel Tasman national park, which follows the northern coast line on the south island.

Imagine waking up at four o´clock and walk straight into a penguin baby; that was an unbelievable moment, I was back to being a 8 year old " mulle" ( an organization, which lots of swedish kids belong to where you spend the weekends sleeping in nature and learning survival techniques etc) The beaches were amazing with golden colored sand and were joined by rainforest and rivers; all completely untouched and empty. I felt so alive and free. I guess sleeping and cooking outside does that to you.
