Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it NOT. Ralph Waldo Emerson
When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all you your thoughts break their bonds: your mind trascends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive and you discover yourself to be a greater person than you ever dreamed yourself to be. from The monk who sold his Ferrari by Robin S Sharma
I am a Swedish actress who got into fashion by accident and has continued within the crazy environment for years. I recently relized that if I did not jump off the wagon for a bit I would deeply regret it. So I made some decisions and set some goals: First: travel around the world.
I am hoping to be able to keep up with my passion for painting, writing as well as photography while seeing the beautiful world we live in. I am now back in the real world and these are my every day musings and interests.
Those who find ugly meanings in beautiful things are corrupt without being charming. This is a fault.
Those who find beautiful meanings in beautiful things are the cultivated. For these there is hope. They are the elect to whom beautiful things mean only Beauty.
There is no such things as a moral or an immoral book. Books are well written, or badly written. That is all.
No artist has ethical sympathies. An ethical sympathy in an artist is an unpardonable mannerism of style. No artist is ever morbid. The artist can express everything.
So I've arrived in Argentina and wow it really is better than I expected. I decided to go with a friend to where I have always dreamt of going: the Pampas . We stayed at an estancia in San Antonio de Areco where we had lots of local wine, food, music and then went riding across the green fields. Afterwards we spent some time watching the real Argentinian gauchos in action. Then finished with a bit of Tango. I love South America.
Life is no brief candle for me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations
